She is going to look amazing in this!  I also LOVE the  packaging, oooh and the photo too  –  I would so love to receive a package like this in the post…sigh!

The March Made It – Happy Rainbow Hexagons!

If you love hexagons (I do, I do!) you will LOVE these bright, beautiful HAPPY hexies!

These are Jane of Rainbow Junkie Corner‘s entry into this month’s Made It challenge – just one look at them leaves you in no doubt who made them too!

Jane’s hexagons were made as a contribution to Patch of Made by Patch‘s exciting project called The Collaborative Crochet Blanket 2014 where she invites crafters to make hexagons and mail them to her. Once the blanket is all sewn up, it will be raffled and won by one of the contributors – what a brilliant idea. I hope I manage to made the deadline and add some of my own. The March Made It – Oodles of O’Noodles

The fun-loving, quirky (with seemingly boundless energy too)  Jill from O’Noodles  has treated us to a selection of her fantastic makes into this months Made It challenge.  Firstly, I just have to share these two pic of Jill’s new photo book that she had made – what a stunning idea!!! The March Made It – A little St Pat’s with heart

It’s a little late but HAPPY ST PADDY’S DAY!  Hope you all enjoyed it in some way wherever you are in the world…being Irish myself (well, half anyway) I particularly loved seeing my Irish friends posting green-Guinness-shamrock-splashed pics  all over Facebook! Makes me very homesick…Heehee, I couldn’t resist sharing this one

A Sweetie KNIT Shamrocking St Patrick’s Day by Knitting With Heart

The happy-hearted Jackie from Knitting With Heart made this beautiful St Patrick’s day wreath, taking finger knitting to a new level by making the “grapevine” out of recycled, spun NEWSPAPER – I’ve never seen this before and I LOVE it!!! It’s adorned with a selection of colourful knitted hearts and shamrock (see the original post for the patterns).

On to my to-do list it goes!!

Kicking off the Mini March Made It

Hello lovlies, hope you’ve all had a wonderfully relaxing and fun weekend. I’ve been browsing on Facebook this eve and I’ve noticed  A LOT of sunshine (and smiles) on the faces of my UK friends…looks like Summer is on the way! I’m looking forward to seeing what’s hot off the needle as much as I’m looking forward to curling up in front of the fire with mine!

As for my entry….well, let’s just say that I got completely inspired when this lovely lady bought some yarn from me and I saw her blog. Heidi from Heidi Bears makes the most gorgeous crochet African Animals (among other things) and I couldn’t resist her African Flower tutorial – NOT that I will be attempting an animal, pffft – I will leave that to the pro’s!  I’m definitely thinking cushion or blanket here…maybe!
