Almost time for the MAY Made It challenge!

Hello everyone!!! I’ve missed being on the blog but have had a super break and have loved spending  time with the kidlets (April has been an odd month of school holidays / public holidays / long weekends) and we’ve all had lots of fun. We’ve had lots of walks on the beach (loving the last rays of summer), friends over to play, sleep overs, dinners out, social gatherings…you name it. I’ve done lots of walking, shopping, driving, “looking” (hand stands, spiders, drawings “look Mom, here’s a squished pea” sigh). We also had  the most amazing 2 nights away camping with friends….Waterfalls, kids playing for hours in the river, braais (bbq’s), walks……pure BLISS!!!

I told you it was a special cupcake! Hello and welcome back to Kayeigh from Kake’s Crafts – am loving this scrumptious cupcake beanie, complete with the cherry on top. Now this is no ordinary deliciously gorgeous cupcake hat, Kayleigh has made this for her Mom’s friend who is undergoing chemo (her Mom too 😦  ) and who has vowed to wear a new beanie every day and they sell it and donate the money  to charity – is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that is utterly amazing.

The March Made It – Baby Ripple Blanket for Baby Rocco

This next entry into the Made It challenge is a little closer to my heart ♥

My friends Viera & Chris in the UK recently had a delicious bouncing baby boy called Rocco (who I’ve haven’t seen in real life YET!) and Mommy absolutely floored my by sending a pic of her first ever attempt at a crochet blanket
